What is metabolism and WHY is it important in weight loss??
At Community Boot Camps, you not only get a great workout, but you also get trainers that know the importance of eating enough during the day to promote fat loss. YES - you read that correctly - EATING ENOUGH! If you don't feed your body, it goes into starvation mode and hangs on to every ounce of fat, not knowing if it will get the next meal. Here is a great article from Shapeup America that explains (in great depth) why you need to know your resting metabolic rate and what it all means when it comes to weight loss. On average, our clients burn 500-600 calories per workout session. Of course some burn more and some less, but that's the average that we find when clients are wearing body buggs or HR monitors that measure caloric output. Here is the article...enjoy!
