Amanda Rupley - Our Little Elm/N. Frisco Texas Fit Chicks trainer is now a published bestselling author!
She began her journey with Texas Fit Chicks in March of 2013 as a chick and quickly fell in love with it! In June 2013, she obtained her certification and launched camps in July 2013 and has been happily helping others in their fitness journey.
For Amanda, her journey wasn't to lose weight. It was to gain strength and endurance after several severe bouts of Lupus struggles that left her bed ridden for many months. Suffering from depression, chronic fatigue and pain, and lack of self worth - Amanda knew something needed to change. Working as a Casting Director in reality television, her day typically began at 6am and ended 10pm or later - so making time to workout wasn't at the top of priorities. One day her son wanted her to play a board game. Amanda could barely lift her arm to move the game board piece and wasn't able to finish the game. She quickly realized that her disease was going to take her if she didn't do something about it. That's when she was introduced to Texas Fit Chicks.
Now, Amanda serves to help others in their journey while dedicating her life to raise awareness for Lupus and other autoimmune illnesses. She has become an ambassador for the Lupus Foundation of America - Lone Star Chapter and serves on the committee for their Annual Gala.
