I am certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and absolutely passionate about fitness. I was put on bed rest with my second pregnancy in my early 30s and afterwards was sedentary for nearly ten years. By early 40s, I realized I had gained 15 pounds over my "normal" weight, still not overweight, but not where I wanted to be and extremely out of shape, not even able to have fun on a ski trip due to extreme muscle fatigue. When I first started trying to work out, I could not even do five jumping jacks without feeling like I was going to die! It took some time, but I lost those extra pounds and am now in the best shape of my life. Too many women give up thinking because they are in their 40s it's too late, that age and hormones are in control. That is wrong! I've been there, I AM there, and I know first hand that becoming physically fit at any age is not impossible and that it will empower you in ALL areas of your life. When your body has energy, strength, and endurance, you can much more easily power through any challenges in your life, and have a lot more fun at the same time. I am privileged to help you along in your journey, no matter where you are.
